Biophilic Design: Expanding Nature: Biophilic design is not simply the single, incongruous instance of nature in an otherwise sterile project, but continuous interventions of the natural environment that are complementary with one another. It is the job of designers to ensure that as innovations in facade technology continue, ways to exploit those advances are propagated. In this roundtable, designers Mitchell Joachim, Julia Watson, Einat Lubliner, and Joyce Hwang will speak about the ways to ensure that biophilic design improves, and the many facets of construction, including facades, where it can find successful expression.
